Market SnapShot is a way for a non-real estate professional to view timely information about what is happening around a particular property.  You'll be able to see what other homes are for sale, say around your house, and also how many homes have sold in the general vicinity.  This data is not real time but is only about one day delayed so you will get a good idea of what is for sale and what has sold around the subject property.  You will also get a wealth of statistical information including asking prices, sale prices, days on market, average prices, high and low prices and much more.

This information is reliable in our market area since it is driven by a link to the multiple listing service which is local in nature.  So if you live anywhere in the DC metro area including our market areas including Gaithersburg, North Potomac, Potomac, Rockville, Germantown, Silver Spring and others you will be able to see the sale data around your target property.

You can request as many SnapShot reports as you like so you can see data surrounding your home as well as any other property you have an interest in.  You get answers like:

• Gauge how the market is trending.
• Find out what sold most recently and
  for how much.
• Understand how homes compete on
  price with other properties selling in
  the area.
• View homes for sale with photos to
  better assess the market conditions.
